Mexican Immigration says there are 10,000 migrants in the caravans
MEXICALI, BC November 7, 2018 - A flow of 10,000 migrants have the northern border between the US and Mexico as their destination, confirmed Luis Humberto López Torres Coto, the INM representative for Baja California.

He said there are four groups of migrants in Mexico. The first group is 4,800 migrants of which 50% are women and children under 10 years of age. The second group is 1,500 people, in Santo Domingo, Oaxaca. The third group is 500 people, mainly from El Salvador, and they are in Chiapas. The fourth group is 3,000 people and they are in Tapachula, and mostly Salvadorans.
