One dead, one wounded in Rosarito kidnapping
PLAYAS DE ROSARITO - One dead and one gravely wounded and near death was the result of a kidnapping of what appears to be a security guard for Foxy's in Popotla last night in an armed attack there. No one has been arrested.

Former Rosarito police officer murdered

"There was no kidnapping"

Rosarito, B.C. - Residents of Bulevar Popotla witnessed the attack on the former Rosarito police officer, Juan Alfonso Cardoso, on calle Circuito Delfín this Friday, November 24 around 11:40PM.

The victim was shot by a group of at least seven masked men in a white van. They also wounded a worker at a pet grooming salon named Horacio who was taken to the Tijuana General Hospital.

At the location of the shooting were found spent bullet casings of various calibers, including 7.62x39 used in AK-47's and 9mm and .223.
