According to the site MetMex Baja California Sur, the lower peninsula is threatened by a low pressure system that is off the coast of Michoacán. In the next 48 hours it will be a tropical storm.

In that sense, it was reported there are  currently three areas of low pressure in the Pacific Ocean, however only one is threatening the state.

The latest guidance has moved the predicted path of Hurricane Norma westward, however there is still a wide divergence in the models.
