Rosarito will close its ports to navigation at 1:30PM today due to high seas. Waves are predicted to reach 14 feet in height, with winds up to 35 knots for the next few days, reported Gustavo Alcudia, Rosarito's Harbormaster.

He said the Pemex tanker is finishing up offloading and the alert can last until next Tuesday afternoon. The waves are expected to be the highest in the past 10 years.

The highest tides and 13 foot waves are in the middle of the night.  Sand bagged and ready.

a non-event.  Water came up to the seawall and onto the street- but not over the wall.   Oh well. There's always tomorrow.
