Frankfurt, Germany – The German anti-doping body warned athletes that meat contaminated with steroids in Mexico could cause problems in clinical trials.
The meat in Mexico has a higher concentration of clenbuterol than the meat fromn China, said Germany’s National Anti-Doping Association on the substance prohibited in sport.
They recommended that athletes traveling to Mexico be “very careful” about what they eat. The warning comes after two travelers tested positive upon their return from Mexico.
